General

What is TrustCheck Nigeria?

TrustCheck Nigeria is a physical verification and due-diligence company. We help individuals and businesses check people, businesses, products, properties and suppliers before they hire, buy, pay, ship, rent or partner.

What does physical verification mean?

It means a trained field representative goes to the place, sees what is there and reports what they find. Examples are visiting an address, seeing a shop or warehouse, inspecting a product or walking a piece of land. It is different from searching online databases.

What can you verify?

We verify people, employees, domestic staff, tenants, businesses, vendors, suppliers, products, properties and business partners. We also take custom requests that are lawful and practical.

Which areas do you cover?

Our primary service areas are Lagos State, Ogun State, and Ibadan in Oyo State. We operate nationwide on request: for any other location in Nigeria, send us a request and we will review it and provide a quotation, subject to the assignment requirements and the agreed service fee. Tell us where the check is needed and we will review it and send a quotation before work begins.

Can you verify someone in another state?

Yes. We do nationwide verification on request. Our main operations are in Lagos State, Ogun State and Ibadan in Oyo State, but we can go anywhere in Nigeria. Send us your request, we review it, and we give you a quotation before any work starts.

Do you serve Nigerians in the diaspora and international clients?

Yes. We serve Nigerians in the diaspora, foreign residents and international companies that need reliable, on-the-ground verification in Nigeria. Whether you are in the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, Europe, Asia or elsewhere, you can contact us to arrange physical verification of people, businesses, suppliers, products, properties and other matters within our service scope.

Services

Can you verify a product before I pay?

Yes. We visit the seller, check the product against what was agreed (model, quantity, visible condition, serial number where applicable) and send photos, video and a report. Inspection confirms what we can see and document at the time. It does not guarantee future performance or hidden defects.

Can you inspect a supplier's premises?

Yes, where access is allowed. If a supplier refuses access or cannot be found at the address, we report that in the findings.

Can you verify domestic staff?

Yes. We check identity, residential address, guarantor, previous employer and references, and we visit the address where agreed.

Can you verify employees?

Yes. We check identity, address, employment history, references and guarantors for applicants and existing staff.

Can you verify tenants?

Yes. We check identity, address, employment, previous landlord references and guarantors, subject to agreed checks.

Can you verify businesses?

Yes. We check the business address and premises, the nature of the business, and business information that is lawfully available, then compare it with what you were told.

Can you verify land or property?

We carry out site inspections and document-based due diligence through appropriate official channels. We do not certify legal title and we do not give legal advice. A qualified lawyer must do that.

Working with us

How long does verification take?

It depends on the location, the number of checks and how quickly people and places can be reached. We confirm the expected turnaround with you before work begins. Urgent requests are possible in many cases.

How much does verification cost?

Final pricing depends on location, assignment complexity, number of checks and turnaround time. Tell us what you need verified and we will give a clear quote before work begins.

Do I need to travel?

No. You do not need to be in Nigeria, or in the same city. Contact our team remotely, tell us what you need verified, and we will assess the assignment, confirm the scope and cost, carry out the agreed checks where feasible and send you a report of our findings.

How does the service work if I live abroad?

First, contact us from anywhere by WhatsApp or email and explain what you need verified and where it is. Second, we review your request, confirm what can legally and practically be checked, and explain the price, expenses and expected turnaround. Third, our team or an appropriately engaged local field verifier carries out the approved physical checks. Fourth, we deliver your report through an agreed digital channel, with relevant findings and supporting evidence where lawful and appropriate.

How will I receive my report if I am outside Nigeria?

We send it through a digital channel we agree with you, such as email or WhatsApp. It includes the findings and, where lawful and appropriate, supporting evidence such as photographs.

What evidence will I receive?

It depends on the assignment. Typical evidence includes photographs, short videos where allowed, notes from visits and calls, document checks and a written report that shows what was confirmed, what could not be confirmed and any red flags.

Can I request urgent verification?

Yes. Choose "Urgent" on the request form or tell us on WhatsApp. We will say whether we can meet your timing in that location.

How do I pay?

We agree the quote with you before work starts and tell you the payment options at that point. Do not pay anyone claiming to be TrustCheck unless you have confirmed the details with us on our official WhatsApp number or email.

What happens if something cannot be verified?

We say so. Our reports separate what we confirmed from what we could not confirm, and we explain why, for example a person was not at the address or a seller refused access.

Limits and privacy

Is my information confidential?

Yes. We handle your information with care and use it only for the agreed verification. Read our Privacy Policy and Data Protection Notice for details.

Can you guarantee that someone is not a fraudster?

No. Nobody honestly can. We verify facts and report what we find at the time. A report reduces risk but does not remove it, and it does not predict future conduct.

Do you provide police clearance?

No. We are not a police or government agency. We do not provide police clearance and we do not claim access to criminal records.

Do you provide legal advice?

No. We provide factual verification reports. For legal advice, speak to a qualified lawyer.

Before You Trust It, Verify It.

Whether you are hiring someone, buying a product, paying a supplier, renting out property or entering a business relationship, TrustCheck helps you verify the facts before you commit.
